Chef Prashanth was always drawn to dishes filled with different flavours and ingredients. A fan of fresh, simple ingredients, his food story borrows from Mediterranean and Asian cooking styles and techniques – to create a style of his own.
A veteran of the Olive Group of restaurants, it’s Prashanth who heads the Group’s latest venture, Cantan, a Chinese Bar House driven by his vision to revive interest in regional Chinese cuisine. With Cantan, he brings culinary offerings from the Guangzhou, Hunan, Shanghai and Sichuan regions to the table; dishes reinvented and reimagined, yet staying true to clean flavours and high-quality ingredients.
With over 18 years of experience, Prashanth has been closely involved with Olive Beach, Bangalore and The Fatty Bao across Bangalore, Mumbai and Kolkata. Cantan, his newest baby, is all set to take him on a whole new culinary adventure.
